C2 Technology Partners is a Calabasas-based managed IT firm. Founded by Chris Woo. We work with family offices, law firms, accounting practices, and property managers across Southern California. Our average client tenure is over a decade.
The short version is that Chris Woo started his career on the advertising side of technology, not the engineering side. He sat in the room at Jay Chiat’s agency through the Apple Genius campaign and the launch of the colored iMacs. He worked on Lexus and Toyota account teams. He understood what brand and communication mean to a business before he ever fixed a server.
That background turned out to be more useful than expected once Chris moved fully into technology consulting. The firms we serve do not actually need an IT firm. They need somebody who understands their business, can speak the language of their partners and principals, and can translate between the technology and the people who depend on it. Most managed IT firms are run by people who got into the business because they like the technology. Chris got into it because he likes the people.
C2 Technology Partners was founded in 2012. The firm has grown from a one-person operation into a fully staffed managed IT practice serving professional services firms from Ventura to the South Bay. We have a small team by design. Every engineer is the primary contact for a defined set of clients. Nobody disappears into a queue.
These are not on the wall in the office. They are how we behave when nobody is watching, which is when it matters.
We will not hire technicians who prefer machines to people. The internal standard is that the person you are working with at our firm matters more than the issue you called about. We hire for it.
Twenty percent over cost on hardware. Wholesale plus a flat fee on Microsoft licensing. The disclosure is the choice.
The phrase is Chris’s. Technology is built by humans and therefore fallible. The humans are the reason we have problems. The humans are also the reason we have anything good. Both are true.
Cybersecurity is real, the threat is real, and we will tell you what we actually think. We will not manufacture fear to upsell. The work itself is enough.
Your firm has a runbook we keep current. If C2 disappeared tomorrow, the next firm could pick it up without you starting from scratch. The discipline of being replaceable keeps us honest.
Ventura to the South Bay. We drive to it. Our average response time on an in-person visit is measured in hours. The firms we serve are within ninety minutes on a workable traffic day.
It is honest, conversational, and occasionally sharp. The point is not to broadcast. The point is to make our perspective on technology available to anybody considering working with us, so the relationship starts with a sense of how we think about the work.
A few sample posts: “What is up with AI?”, on the mad rush and what to be cautious about. “The $300 laptop versus the $1,300 laptop,” on the actual math of hardware quality. “It is not personal anymore,” on how the cyberthreat environment has changed and what that means for small firms.

They picked up the phone on a Sunday night when our server went down before a Monday board meeting. I have not seriously thought about our IT in eight years. That is the value.
Tell us what is going wrong. We will tell you whether we can help, what it would cost, and what we would do first. No pressure, no contract on the first call.
